Our latest basement project was finished for a family that loves the gym in Milton, Ga. The family room featured an electric fireplace with stone surround. Load bearing walls were removed to create a more open floor plan and cedar columns with brick were then installed to delineate the different areas. A galley style bar was incorporated into the design featuring quartz counter tops, glass back splash tile, ice maker and beverage cooler. A large picture window was added into this bar area to provide additional light. A full CrossFit gym featuring decorative and resilient barn wood walls along with rubber flooring was constructed. The bathroom featured a steam shower with the ability to add essential oils for a spa like experience after workouts. The stairwell wall was opened and a handrail with metal balusters was added. We then installed a custom sliding 10 foot barn door to block noise travel between floors when entertaining. LVP flooring was installed throughout the space as a durable and functional product for the family.
