This month‘s featured project was designed and constructed for one of our favorite past clients. We finished their basement in their old residence in Dawsonville and they had us come back to finish the basement in their new home. There were some layout challenges to overcome in order to create an open floor plan with the existing framing so we designed, engineered and installed two 30 foot-long I-beams to connect the game room to the family room. The homeowner wanted plenty of space to house his collection of pinball machines and enough room to install a mini bowling game. The family room was designed to accommodate a 90 inch TV and bar area to enhance entertaining. A full bathroom and bedroom was also incorporated into the design for overflow guest accommodations. The homeowners are pleased with the new space and the grandkids won’t be able to stay away with all of the fun games and room to run around.
