In the heart of Johns Creek, a transformation took place this past February that has left its homeowners absolutely ecstatic. What was once a typical kitchen layout has now become a masterpiece of modern design and functionality, thanks to a comprehensive remodel that redefined the space.

The centerpiece of this remodel was undoubtedly the full kitchen renovation. The homeowners opted to completely change the layout, moving the range from its central island position to the perimeter, and ingeniously running the exhaust through the ceiling joists for a seamless, clutter-free look. This decision not only opened up the kitchen space but also allowed for a more intuitive workflow.

The aesthetic upgrade was just as impressive as the structural changes. New shaker-style cabinets, meticulously painted on-site in Benjamin Moore’s elegant Swiss Coffee, now grace the kitchen walls. Complementing these are a striking stained wood island, providing a warm contrast that ties the entire room together. The choice of Taj Mahal Quartzite for the countertops was inspired, its delicate veining echoing the island’s wood tones while harmonizing effortlessly with the Swiss Coffee cabinets.

No detail was overlooked in this remodel. The backsplash, a Portmore White tile with subtle color variations, adds depth and sophistication to the space, illuminated by strategically placed undercabinet lighting that enhances both functionality and ambiance. The kitchen now boasts top-of-the-line appliances: a new 42″ Subzero refrigerator, a Wolf 30″ built-in wall oven, and a 24″ Wolf microwave drawer, ensuring both style and practicality.

Lighting played a crucial role in accentuating the new design. Brody 10″ pendants in aged brass hang above the island, casting a warm glow that complements the wood and neutral tones throughout the kitchen. The cabinetry features Westerly 6-5/16″ pulls, adding a touch of contemporary elegance to the classic shaker style.

Beyond the kitchen, the remodel extended its magic to other areas of the home. The laundry room and Butler’s Pantry were also treated to the same exquisite materials and craftsmanship. Matching Taj Mahal Quartzite countertops and Swiss Coffee cabinets create a seamless transition from the kitchen, ensuring a cohesive design language throughout the main level of the house. A notable feature in the Butler’s Pantry are the client’s favorite 2″ high floating shelves, expertly crafted by Victoria Renovations in-house, adding both functionality and personal flair to the space.

The renovation didn’t stop at cabinetry and countertops. The entire main level received a fresh coat of paint, rejuvenating the space and highlighting the new design elements. Refinished wood floors, treated with a water-based polyurethane for durability and shine, now gleam underfoot, enhancing the overall sense of openness and light.

Even the entryway received a makeover, with a new 8-foot door and a statement chandelier welcoming guests into the transformed home. In the study, outdated carpet was replaced with new wood floors, bringing a cohesive flow to the main level’s aesthetic.

The powder room underwent a complete renovation as well, shedding its outdated look for a modern refresh. Wallpaper was removed, replaced by new floor tiles that complement the fresh vanity, light bar, and sink, tying together the same elegant design language found throughout the home.

In summary, what started as a vision for a more functional kitchen evolved into a holistic remodel that transformed the entire home. Every detail, from the layout adjustments to the choice of materials and finishes, was carefully considered to create a space that not only meets but exceeds the homeowners’ expectations. The result is a home that not only functions seamlessly for everyday living but also radiates beauty and sophistication, making it a true sanctuary for its delighted owners. This Johns Creek home remodel stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful design and skilled craftsmanship in creating spaces that inspire and uplift.
