One of the most impactful improvements involved reconfiguring the kitchen layout to maximize storage and natural light. The project included removing three existing windows and combining them into a larger double window, creating additional wall space for cabinetry while still maintaining an open, bright atmosphere. Brickwork was carefully completed around the new window opening to blend seamlessly with the home’s existing exterior. New paint-grade casing completed the updated window installation, giving the space a refined architectural appearance.
At the center of the kitchen sits an expansive custom island that immediately draws attention. Finished with stunning natural stone countertops, the oversized island provides generous food preparation space, casual seating, an additional prep sink, and abundant storage. Above the island, three oversized glass pendant lights suspended beneath a custom wood ceiling feature create a dramatic focal point that complements the open-concept design.
