- Demolition and Framing The project began with the demolition of the existing cabinets, countertops, and plumbing fixtures. This phase also included framing in a wall recess to accommodate the new refrigerator, creating a seamless fit and enhanced functionality.
- Electrical and Lighting We updated the kitchen’s electrical system, including the installation of dedicated circuits for various appliances such as the refrigerator, gas cooktop, and dishwasher. The addition of LED puck lights under the cabinets and beautiful Ellis Collection 4 Light Pendant fixtures in brushed gold provided both practical and stylish lighting solutions.
- Plumbing and HVAC Plumbing updates were crucial for the new Kraus 33” Stainless Steel Farmhouse Apron Single Bowl sink and the installation of a dedicated hot water faucet. Additionally, we ran a new exhaust vent for the range hood, ensuring optimal ventilation for the kitchen.
- Drywall and Trim Carpentry Patching and repairing drywall where necessary ensured a smooth finish, ready for the final touches. We installed elegant trim, including paint-grade crown molding, baseboards, and base shoe moldings, adding a refined touch to the overall design.
- Cabinets and Countertops One of the standout features of this remodel was the installation of prefabricated perimeter cabinets in Shaker White and island cabinets in Shaker Gray. These cabinets, paired with Muse Quartz countertops, provided a sleek and sophisticated look. Custom-built 2” wood shelving added a unique and practical storage solution.
- Flooring and Painting The existing hardwood floors were refinished, complemented by new Solid Red Oak hardwood flooring in areas where it was missing. The walls were painted in Light French Gray (SW 0055) by Sherwin Williams, creating a neutral and inviting backdrop for the kitchen’s features.
