Project Spotlight: Home Refresh
Victoria Renovations is proud to showcase a beautifully executed remodel for the Quinn family in Alpharetta, GA, located in Fulton County. This extensive renovation included a full transformation of the kitchen, powder room, and primary bathroom—crafted with premium selections, precise construction, and thoughtful attention to the client’s lifestyle. As always, our work was performed using our signature occupied remodeling and dust-free protocols to ensure a seamless experience for the homeowners.
Kitchen: A Tailored Culinary Retreat
The kitchen remodel began with a full gut of the existing layout, replaced with a clean, elegant design centered around natural textures and warm neutrals. The island and full-height backsplash were surfaced in Calacatta Extra quartz—delivering dramatic veining and a high-end finish. The perimeter countertops and butler’s pantry featured Jura Beige quartz, introducing a soft contrast and rich warmth.
Cabinetry was designed for both beauty and function. The island and pantry units were custom stained to match a rich wood tone, while the perimeter cabinets were lacquered in Benjamin Moore Stone Hearth #984 at 25% lighter for a subtle, elevated effect. Walls were painted in Benjamin Moore Winds Breath #981 in a matte finish, with trim in Sherwin Williams Alabaster #7008, creating a soft, sophisticated palette.
Lighting selections included industrial dome pendants over the island and wall sconces flanking the custom wood hood. The fixtures throughout the kitchen are from the Delta Broderick Collection in Champagne Bronze, delivering both performance and polish. Integrated LED under-cabinet lighting, new dimmer switches, and a suite of updated outlets and circuits completed the lighting and electrical upgrades.
Appliances included a Wolf 48” dual-fuel range, a Bosch 800 Series French door refrigerator, a professional-grade hood liner, built-in microwave and beverage cooler—all seamlessly incorporated into the cabinetry with dedicated circuits. The cabinetry also includes custom pull-outs, a dog food bin, and soft-close storage solutions for optimal function.
Butler’s Pantry & Drop Zone: Efficient and Elevated
The butler’s pantry cabinetry, finished in Sherwin Williams Taiga SW 9654, delivers moody contrast against quartz countertops and a ceramic tile backsplash installed in a clean straight-lay pattern. The design includes glass-front upper cabinets and under-cabinet LED lighting for both ambiance and function.
The drop zone, formerly a pantry space, was structurally opened with the addition of a double 2×10 header, making way for a fully custom locker-style mudroom. Cabinetry was also finished in Sherwin Williams Taiga SW 9654 with a custom-stained bench top, coat hooks, and base storage—blending utility with tailored style.
Powder Room: A Refined Statement in a Small Space
The powder room received a total refresh with a pre-finished vanity cabinet and quartz top, paired with a Delta Trinsic faucet in Champagne Bronze. Soft Benjamin Moore Winds Breath paint covers both the upper walls and the trim, enhanced by white vertical beadboard paneling. Elegant wallpaper, a large oval mirror, and coordinated fixtures gave this small space a striking yet serene new look.
Primary Bathroom: Spa-Worthy Serenity
Upstairs, the primary bath was transformed into a serene retreat with elegant finishes and custom craftsmanship. A freestanding tub sits beneath a large window surrounded by glazed ceramic tile, paired with a Kohler Purist freestanding faucet in Champagne Bronze. The double vanity, made of stain-grade white oak cabinetry, is topped with Opal Marquette quartz and fitted with Kohler Purist wall-mounted faucets in matching finish.
The large walk-in shower features vertically laid ceramic tile, a built-in niche, mosaic floor, and frameless glass enclosure. Shower controls include both a rainfall and handheld fixture from the Delta Trinsic Collection in Champagne Bronze.
Walls throughout the bathroom were painted in Benjamin Moore Winds Breath, with trim and windows in the same shade but in a standard finish. The ceiling features painted shiplap in Sherwin Williams Alabaster SW 7008, adding architectural interest overhead. Coordinating herringbone tile flooring and a whimsical bubble chandelier complete the spa-like atmosphere.
A Unified Vision: Flooring, Paint & Final Touches
Luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed throughout the main floor, offering durability and warmth in a rich wood tone. Base shoe trim was replaced and painted to complete the look. All wall paint throughout the home maintained a soft neutral palette, anchored by BM Winds Breath and SW Alabaster on trim and ceilings.
From structural framing and plumbing to paint, flooring, cabinetry, and finish selections—every detail of this home was expertly managed and executed by the Victoria Renovations team.
