The Vision

The family envisioned a multifunctional space that would serve as an entertainment hub, a relaxing retreat, and a personal fitness area. Our team was tasked with bringing this vision to life, ensuring every detail was meticulously planned and executed to perfection. A standout feature in this basement remodel was the installation of two separate triple LVL beams (family room & bedroom), to support the open layout and provide structural integrity.

The Family Room

Upon entering the newly renovated basement, the family room greets you with a warm, inviting ambiance. The room features six LED recessed lights that illuminate the space beautifully, creating a cozy atmosphere. The walls, painted with Alabaster SW 7008, a soft, neutral shade that adds to the serene environment. The Sahara luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring, chosen for its durability and stylish appearance, seamlessly ties the room together.

The Bar Area

Adjacent to the family room is the sophisticated bar area, designed for entertaining guests. This space features shaker gray prefabricated cabinets that provide ample storage with a touch of elegance from the upper cabinet glass doors. The Infinity White quartz countertops with an eased edge profile are both functional and beautiful, offering plenty of space for preparing drinks from the underneath beverage cooler. The black subway tile backsplash contrasts beautifully with the lighter cabinetry, creating a striking visual effect.

The Gym

For the fitness enthusiasts, the newly created gym is a dream come true. The room is equipped with rubber flooring, perfect for workouts and easy maintenance. A 1/4″ plate glass mirror spans the back walls, enhancing the sense of space and providing a functional element for exercise routines. A floor-to-ceiling glass door surrounded by multiple side panels separates the gym from the bar area.

The gym is well-lit with six LED recessed lights and features a ceiling fan with an attached light kit, ensuring the room is comfortable and well-ventilated.

The Bedroom

The new bedroom in the basement is a serene retreat, complete with a ceiling fan and light kit for comfort. The walls are adorned with crown molding and 5 1/4″ baseboards, all painted in a harmonious color palette that matches the rest of the basement. The Sahara LVP flooring continues into the bedroom, maintaining consistency and elegance throughout the space.

The Bathroom

The bathroom in the lower level is a modern sanctuary, featuring shaker white prefabricated cabinets with a Via Lactea Granite countertop. The frameless shower door adds a touch of luxury, while the Trevisa Bianca Polished Porcelain tiles on the shower walls, with Frosty 09 grout, enhances the room’s elegance. The edges are finished with a schluter strip for a clean, professional look.

The shower floor is beautifully tiled with Festival Matte Black Herringbone Porcelain, using Midnight Black grout, creating a stunning contrast. The bathroom is equipped with LED recessed lights and an 80 CFM exhaust fan, ensuring it remains well-lit and ventilated.

Additional Spaces

Other areas, including the hallway, storage closet, and stairs, were also meticulously renovated. These spaces feature consistent Sahara LVP flooring, LED lighting, and quality paint finishes. The stairs are carpeted in Obsidian, ensuring a plush and safe ascent and descent. The doors and floating shelves are painted in Sherwin Williams Iron Ore SW7069. For continuity with the bar cabinets, the accent wall and tray ceiling are painted in Galveston Gray (Benjamin Moore AC-27).
