Stunning Remodel in Brookhaven
At Victoria Renovations, we specialize in bringing dream spaces to life with thoughtful design and meticulous craftsmanship. Our recent remodel for the Brouillette family in Brookhaven is a showcase of our design-build expertise with a Primary Bathroom built to feel like a spa retreat by carefully balancing elegance and practicality, a Jack-and-Jill Bathroom built to handle daily use while still feeling stylish, as well as Foyer, Staircase, and Upstairs Flooring, blending structural updates with high-end finishes.
Primary Bathroom: Spa-Worthy Serenity
- Cabinetry & Countertops: Shaker-style cabinets in a soft gray lacquer finish were topped with white quartz countertops featuring subtle veining, paired with a matching 4″ riser backsplash. Undermount porcelain sinks provided a seamless look.
- Fixtures: Polished chrome widespread faucets complemented the clean quartz, while the shower featured a rainfall showerhead, handheld sprayer, and diverter valve for flexibility.
- Shower & Tile Design: A frameless glass enclosure showcased the custom shower, which included a floating corner bench and a tiled shampoo niche. The walls were clad in large-format ceramic tile, while the shower floor was finished in a mosaic hex tile, both in calming shades of gray and white. The main bath floor was laid with classic ceramic tile in a straight-lay pattern, offering a timeless base.
- Lighting & Paint: Above each vanity, we installed chrome light bars with clear globe shades that complemented recessed lighting overhead. Walls were painted a crisp neutral to highlight the cabinetry and quartz.
- Trim & Details: The new tempered window brought in natural light, framed in 3 ¼” paint-grade casing for architectural polish.
Jack-and-Jill Bathroom: Everyday Function with Style
- Vanity & Countertops: A fresh white vanity was topped with quartz counters, accented with undermount porcelain sinks. The chrome faucets provided durability while the curved-edge mirrors introduced softness and character.
- Fixtures: A new Kohler Cimarron toilet brought efficiency and comfort. Chrome towel rings and robe hooks tied together the accessories.
- Tile Selections: Floors were tiled in ceramic with a soft gray undertone, laid in a straight pattern for longevity. Around the tub, we installed crisp 3×6 white subway tile up to the casing height, complemented by a recessed niche for storage.
- Lighting & Paint: Dual light bars above the sinks added brightness, while soft sage-green walls gave the room a serene backdrop against the white tile and cabinetry.
Foyer, Staircase & Flooring: A Grand Welcome
- Framing & Structural Work: We demolished part of the floor system to create an open-to-below Foyer, reframing as needed for strength.
- Stairs: The staircase was rebuilt with White Oak treads stained to match the upstairs hardwood. New square posts and balusters were installed, along with refinished handrails for a cohesive look. The bottom step was redesigned as a wider square platform, creating a grand first impression.
- Lighting: Fixtures were repositioned to enhance the natural light pouring through the foyer window.
- Flooring: To unify the entire second floor, we installed over 1,600 square feet of 2¼” White Oak hardwood flooring. The floors were stained in the family’s preferred tone and finished with a durable water-based sealant.
Every phase was managed to deliver not only stunning results but also a smooth homeowner experience. The Brouillette family’s Brookhaven home is now brighter, more functional, and undeniably elegant.
