The Vision
The Cotton family desired a serene and luxurious space that combined functionality with elegance. The existing bathroom was a typical example of early 2000s design—efficient but lacking in modern aesthetics and amenities. Demolition and Preparation
The first step was gutting the bathroom down to the drywall, including the removal of the angled wall in the vanity area to square off the room. The toilet room walls were removed and replaced with frosted glass panels. This phase involved careful handling of materials and precise execution to prepare the space for new installations.
Structural and Electrical Enhancements
With the old fixtures removed, we moved on to the structural modifications. This included framing a new tray ceiling and installing recessed lights above each vanity. The electrical work involved relocating switches and installing a new exhaust fan.
Plumbing Upgrades
Plumbing is a critical aspect of any bathroom remodel. For the Cotton family, this included:
- Trimming out new vanity faucets.
- Installing undermount porcelain vanity sinks.
- Setting up a freestanding tub with a floor-mounted faucet.

- Shower: The shower walls featured Villa Artisan Mist Ceramic 3×12 Tile, and the floor was done in Pebblino Mosaici Bianco Carrera Mix Pebble Mosaic, adding texture and elegance.
- Lighting: The Robern Vitality Lighted Mirror with Inset Rectangle provided not only illumination but also a touch of sophistication.
- Painting: The walls were painted in PPG 517-3 Fog, creating a calm and soothing environment.
