Reimaging the Fryar Family’s Master Bath: A Stunning Remodel

The Scope of Work
The Fryar family’s master bathroom remodel involved a comprehensive scope of work, meticulously planned and executed to ensure minimal disruption to their daily lives. Key aspects of the remodel included demolition, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, cabinetry, tiling, painting, and the installation of premium fixtures and finishes.
Demolition and Preparation
Our team began by removing the existing vanity cabinets, countertops, sinks, faucets, light fixtures, bathtub, and shower components. We ensured a clean and safe work environment by installing dust barriers and protecting the existing floors with masonite sheets. A job site dumpster was provided for efficient disposal of debris, ensuring a clutter-free and organized workspace.
Electrical and Plumbing Enhancements
We upgraded the electrical system, installing a dedicated circuit for the new PuraFlame Alice 40-Inch Recessed Electric Fireplace, which is wall-mounted in 2×6 studs. This modern fireplace, complete with a log set and crystal display, adds warmth and elegance to the bathroom. We also installed M LTMIRROR LED Lighted Oval Bathroom Vanity Makeup Mirrors, providing both functionality and a modern aesthetic. These mirrors, coupled with the new chandelier and vanity lights, ensured ample and stylish illumination.
The plumbing work involved installation of a luxurious freestanding bathtub, centered on the existing window, complemented by a high-end freestanding tub faucet. Additionally, we outfitted the vanity area with vessel-style porcelain sinks and countertop-mounted faucets, enhancing both functionality and style.
Custom Cabinetry and Stunning Countertops
Custom-built cabinets were a highlight of this project. The base cabinets and linen tower were crafted from paint-grade maple with 3/4″ clear birch boxes. Each cabinet was fitted with pull-out shelving, designed to maximize storage space and convenience. The cabinets were painted with a lacquer finish, chosen by the Fryar family, to match the overall bathroom aesthetic.
The countertops featured Brunello Quartz with eased edges, providing a durable and elegant surface. These countertops were complemented by 4″ quartz riser backsplashes, seamlessly integrating with the custom cabinetry.
Exquisite Tile Work
Tile work played a significant role in this remodel. For the flooring, we installed IWT Pietra Roma 12×24 tiles in Snow, using Biscuit grout. The shower walls were adorned with Bati Orient Onyx White Opus Mosaic Interlocking tiles, also grouted with Biscuit for a cohesive look. The shower floor featured a large custom pan with a Red Guard waterproofing membrane, ensuring durability and longevity.
MSI Philadelphia Panel 6×24 Beige tiles were used to create stunning feature walls around the bathtub and fireplace area. The natural stone appearance of these tiles added texture and visual interest, creating a focal point in the bathroom.
