The Consoli family wanted to update their outdated master bathroom to create a more luxurious and comfortable space. The remodel included a complete overhaul of the existing fixtures, flooring, and cabinetry. The project involved various construction disciplines, including demolition, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, and tile installation. Demolition and Preparation
The first phase of the project involved careful demolition of the existing bathroom features. Our team removed the old countertops, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and tile flooring. The cabinets were retained and refinished to match the new design. We also removed drywall to allow for new insulation, ensuring the bathroom would be energy-efficient and comfortable.
Flooring and Tiling
The bathroom floor was upgraded with Happy Floors AG Azuma 12×24 tiles in a stunning grey hue, paired with Pewter grout for a sleek and cohesive look. The shower walls were adorned with Happy Floors Neostile 2.0 Chalk 12×24 tiles, complemented by Warm Grey grout. For the shower floor, we chose Bati Orient GAGR09 Grey Striped Pebble 12×12 tiles with Timber Wolf grout, adding a touch of natural texture and elegance.
Shower and Niche
The shower area received a significant upgrade with the installation of a large shower pan, waterproofing membrane, and a stunning frameless shower door. The shower niche was beautifully tiled with Topcu Wooden Blue 1×4 Herringbone tiles, providing a stylish and functional space for toiletries. We also installed a new rain shower head and a diverter valve, offering the Consoli family a luxurious showering experience.
Countertops and Fixtures
The vanity area was transformed with the installation of Calacatta Gold quartz countertops, bringing a touch of luxury and sophistication to the bathroom. The existing vanity cabinets were painted in Sherwin Williams SW7004 Snowbound, providing a fresh and modern look. We also installed new undermount white porcelain sinks and brushed nickel faucets, enhancing the overall aesthetic and functionality.
Freestanding Tub
One of the standout features of the remodel is the new freestanding tub. The Consoli family selected a Hydro Systems DEN6836HTO-WH tub with a gloss white interior and a carbon polished exterior. This elegant tub serves as a focal point in the bathroom, offering a relaxing and stylish retreat.
Painting and Finishing Touches
To complete the transformation, the walls were painted in Sherwin Williams SW6232 Misty, a calming and sophisticated shade, while the trim was painted in SW7008 Alabaster. The cabinetry was finished in SW7004 Snowbound, providing a cohesive and clean look throughout the space. We also installed new light fixtures, including a flush mount ceiling light and vanity lights, ensuring the bathroom is well-lit and inviting.
